Energy economist Proparco
Cyril Renault Cyril Renault is a qualified energy economist who graduated from France's former École nationale supérieure du pétrole et des moteurs (now the IFP School). After graduating, he spent several years working on international projects for the French Environment and Energy Management Agency in Paris and then, between 2004 and 2008, was involved in setting up microfinance institutions in Madagascar and Mauritania on behalf of GRET, the Group for Research and Technology Exchanges. In 2009, he joined the French Development Agency, where he set up Proparco's Technical Assistance department.
