Overview
Francis Rougier is Vice-President and Chief Executive of the Rougier Group. He joined the family company in 1971, after graduating in and obtaining a degree from Sciences Po (the Institute of Political Studies), and was appointed Chief Executive in 1983.
He became Chairman of the Board in 2004, and has been Vice-President and Chief Executive of Rougier SA since June 2010. He also is a board member of a number of professional and employer organisations.

Rougier
Rougier Group, established in 1923, is one of the market leaders for certified African tropical woods. With a workforce of 3,000, the group is active in the management of natural forests, industrial processing and international trade (Rou-gier Afrique International); in the import and distribution of timber products in France (Rougier Sylvaco and Rougier Panneaux); and in research, management and investment in industrial forestry plantations in Africa (Lignafrica).
