Gaëlle Balineau Gaëlle Balineau joined AFD in 2014 and conducts research on agri-food product trade, market regulation and the evolution of the productive structure of economies. Before that, she worked as a consultant for the World Bank on trade assistance and trade facilitation projects in Cameroon and Lesotho. Gaëlle Balineau was also president of the network of French-speaking research network on fair trade. She holds a PhD in development economics and is a graduate of the Centre d'études et de recherches sur le développement international (CERDI) at the University of Clermont-Ferrand.
