Hildah Chao
Overview
Hildah Chao is a Research Assistant of Digital Divide Data Kenya. Hildah came to DDD from Ipsos-Synovate Kenya where she worked as a Qualitative Research Consultant. She has also worked for Research Guide Africa as a Social and Market Researcher. Previously, she worked for Internews Network Kenya as an M&E Consultant for their Media Programs. At DDD, Hildah has worked for the Kenya Financial Diaries project where she gained experience on Financial Lives of the low income in Kenya.

DDD has specialized in research into financial services in East Africa and in particular those used by low income populations. DDD implemented the Kenya Financial Diaries in 2013-2014. At the same time, DDD's innovative social model enables talented youth from low-income families to access professional opportunities and earn lasting higher income.
