Jean-Luc François has been Head of the Agriculture, Rural Development and Biodiversity Division at AFD (Agence française de développement) since September 2009. Having worked as an expert government advisor in Thailand, the Congo, Mauritania, Côte d’Ivoire, Madagascar and Ethiopia, he has held a variety of posts within the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs. Jean-Luc François is France’s Inspector General of Veterinary Public Health.
