Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF)

Overview

Susana Garcia-Robles has an MA in International Economic Policy, Philosophy and Education and is lead investment officer of the MIF at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) where she works with venture capital investments in Latin America, the Caribbean, Argentina and Uruguay. She was on the Executive Council of Diplomacy in Washington, and has worked with NGOs on economic development at the UN.

Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF)

The Multilateral  Investment Fund  (MIF) was set up  in 1993 and is  administered by  the Inter-American  Development Bank. It  focuses its support  on helping small  and medium-sized  enterprises in  Latin America and  the Caribbean. Its  investments have  been decisive for  the creation of several venture capital funds dedicated to clean energies.
