Alexandre de La Volpilière

Overview

Alexandre de La Volpilière is a pharmacist and public health inspector who has pursued a wide range of interests within the healthcare sector working in the French Ministry for Industry (2004-2005), the French National Health Authority (2005- 2008) where he was tasked with vetting medicines and setting prices and reimbursement rates, the Directorate-General for Health (DGS), and then at OCEAC (2014) where he worked on regulating the pharmaceutical sector in central Africa. In 2017, Alexandre joined the French General Secretariat for European Affairs (SGAE) where he tracks European negotiations in a number of areas, particularly work, employment and healthcare. He is a graduate of Université Claude Bernard in Lyon and of Lille-II and Paris-V universities.
