Overview

Bertrand Savoye was trained as an economist and has worked for the French National Institute for Statistics and Economic Research (INSEE) and Eurostat on business studies and statistics. He has performed various joint statistical missions in central and eastern Europe as well as in developing countries. He joined Agence française de développement (AFD) in 1997 where he has conducted studies and assessments and worked in operations, particularly in the microfinance and meso-finance sectors. Bertrand is a graduate of ENS Cachan.

Agence française de développement (AFD) helps implement France’s development and international solidarity policy.
