Overview

Christine Heuraux, who holds a doctorate in German literature, joined EDF in 1994. As Director of the Access to Energy division (2007–2011), she led projects focused on Africa in particular. Her publications include L'électricité au cœur des défis africains [Electricity – at the heart of Africa's challenges] (Karthala, 2010), La formation au cœur du développement [Training – central to development] (L'Harmattan, 2011), and Croissance africaine: y croire et s'impatienter [African growth : believe, and be impatient] (L'Harmattan, 2014). She is currently Director of Training Support in EDF's international development department.
