Overview

Jean Bakouma has a PhD in economics and is a specialist in the global wood markets. As a former consultant of the World Bank, the FAO, the European Union and the International Tropical Timber Organization, he lectures on wood trafficking at the French national police investigation training centre in Fontainebleau and teaches on the bioresources Master's degree course at the University of Paris XII.
