Overview

After working in Proparco's Banks and Financial Markets department, and opening the organisation's regional office for West Africa in 2010, Julien Lefilleur currently heads Proparco's Manufacturing, Agribusiness and Services Division in Paris. Founder and editor-in-chief of the Proparco magazine Private Sector & Development, he is a graduate of École Centrale de Paris with a PhD in economics from the Sorbonne University.

Proparco

Proparco is a subsidiary of the AFD Group focused on private sector development. It has been promoting sustainable economic, social and environmental development for over 45 years.

Proparco provides funding and support to both businesses and financial institutions in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle-East.
