Overview

Philippe Marin, a specialist in water and sanitation at the World Bank, led a comprehensive study on publicprivate partnerships in the water sector between 2006 and 2008. He is an agronomic engineer and also holds an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France. An expert in water utilities reforms and public-private partnerships, he has worked in more than 40 countries on institutional reforms, infrastructure finance and utilities management, both in the private sector and several international financial institutions. He joined the World Bank Group in 2001.
