Since 2007, it has focussed on sub-Saharan Africa and Central America, investing to enhance performance of existing assets, or develop and construct new power projects. In the past 2 years, Globeleq has undertaken construction of 520 MW of new generation and commenced a 139 MW expansion of an existing operation.
